Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in game so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out to be part of Saga in-game although it is required to be granted Veteran status. You can do it now or in the future. You can fill one out even if you do not wish to join the larger family. There is no pressure, and no rush. Take your time and look around.

The process to have your application for Veteran status may take a period of up to two weeks.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

Class: Level 80 Monk (or that fighter that does dps and doesn't tank)
Alignment: Good, most of the time
God: Mithaniel Marr, the Truthbringer
Tradeskill: Alchemist (level 52, I think), also writes poetry sometimes.


Do you have alternate characters on the same server?
It's quite the rotating cast. The current role call is: Aemora (Arasai templar), Xanilai (Tier'dal coercer/soon to be illusionist), Tydeus (human guardian/Wayena's twin brother), Anani (human dirge), Galynda (Koada'dal swashbuckler), and Zenumtim (Gnome conjuror). These alts are subject to change as the wind blows.

How did you hear of us?
My good friend, Zerzal, spoke very highly of you and I trust her opinion.

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?
I know a few from my days in League of Honour on EQ's Firiona Vie server, but otherwise, no.

What Roleplay games have you participated in?
Everquest, Everquest 2, World of Warcraft (free trial, didn't like it), Flyff, Guild Wars for online games.
Fallout, Final Fantasy series (LOVE Final Fantasy Tactics), and a bunch of others I can't remember the names of.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?
Friendship, good aligned characters, role-play, a sense of belonging to something bigger than myself.

Tell us of your past.

Though my past is shrouded in haze, I know that I was born in Freeport, but have no memories of those who were my parents. I have made many choices, some good, some bad, but they have all led me to finding my purpose here as a defender of Qeynos and servant of the Truthbringer, Mithaniel Marr.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?

Hobbies, eh? Well, I enjoy a good story, whether it be told in book, song, or over a frosty ale. I enjoy working on my alchemy skills at the chemistry table and I swear there aren't THAT many explosions...

Directives? Not sure how to take that, but I do enjoy aiding others in accomplishing their goals. Gives me the warm tinglies, as I call it. I stand up against those that would prey upon others and battle against the forces of evil.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I would like to see myself surrounded by family and friends, the time for war ended, and all of us at peace with our world and ourselves. In the meantime, I would like to gather and reforge the Hand of Serenity so that it may bring me closer to that world I dream of.
