Hello all - EQ2 6-26-05

[Anaris]

Ajen

Ajen peeks his head in, looking around at the patrons of the tavern, and smiles as he walks in. He then freezes as he knocks over vase near the door, sending it crashing to the floor, and stands there slack jaws realizing this first impression made was very poor.

"Uh...hello all...heh. My name is Ajen, a member of the Legacy of the Phoenix. I recently met a few of your members during a card race and, well, thought I could come by and say hello."

He waves and slowly kneels down to start picking up the pieces.

"So...hello..."



Adeste

"Oh, hello there Ajen, and hello to your talking sword too!

"Don't worry about the vase, they're terribly cheap to obtain if you have the right, er, contacts ..." Adeste swiftly sweeps up the shards so nobody steps on them.

"You're most welcome to come say hello. Please don't mind the elf over there wearing the barrel. High elves, you know .... " Adeste tries to nod conspiratorially, but actually looks slightly guilty, as if she suspects Katu is going to blame her for something, probably barrel-related, very soon.

"Er ... the bar's over here, please help yourself to whatever you fancy!"


Anaris

Darling! How nice of you to join us!

*Anaris quickly heads over to greet the Human Guardian*

Oh, Adeste will take care of the barrel... There's always something breaking here, whether it's the door, or the tab on a keg, or....well.. you get the point.... Come, come! You must meet everyone!

*grabs the Human by the arm and proceeds to give him a tour of the tavern and its patrons*


Jasyn

Jasyn stares at the remnants of the vase, being swept up by Adeste.

"Rats. That's where I've been hidin' the emergency stash of ale."

"Oh. Yeah. Howdy Ajen." Jasyn searches for the guardian's friend and decides to settle for his left shoe instead.

"... 'n hello to ya too, um, Berik."


Ajen

As Ajen is pulled along he notices Jasyn's gaze.

"Hello again, Jasyn. And...Berik is right here."

He points to the sword at his side as it begins to speak.

"One would assume when the lad displayed me to everyone present that it would have been obvious..."

Ajen looks to the sword with a slight glower, "Be polite."



Lyrima

Kiaria pulls back, her brown eyes widening.

"Thee hast a sword of spoken word?"

The lovely druid moves back a pace as Ajen hurries along with Ana.

"I have n'er heard of a sword of words. Dost he... she... have a tongue of most deadly sharpness..?"

Her faint smile remains as she awaits his reply.


Ajen

Berik laughs, "I was once a man, Priestess of Nature, thus one can still consider me a male in my nature, if not in stature."

Ajen looks to the druid with an awkward gaze on his face then to Berik, murmuring, "How do you always know?"

"The energies of nature are strong with her, lad. You know my affinity with the nature of nature." Berik chuckles.

Ajen would say more but is still being pulled along.
