Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds have formed, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in TOR so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out to be part of Saga in-game. You can do it now or in the future. You can fill one out even if you do not wish to join the larger family. There is no pressure, and no rush. Take your time and look around.

Just a reminder: After your board rank is changed to recruit, you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and crew skills.

Khaeden is a male zabrak defense spec'ed jedi shadow that enjoys working with lightsaber crystals and components (artificing).  Alignment is mostly light, but he's goal focused and a shadow so he will often "remove" the dark natured targets of his missions to prevent potential issues in the future.  He's more worried about eliminating Sith and dark side threats in as permanent a way as possible.  Spending time and taking a chance at redemption isn't high on his list.  To him, elimination of the threat by lightsaber gives the same end result as elimination of the threat by imprisonment.

In addition to artificing, his crew skills are treasure hunting and archaeology

Covarus is a male Mirialan jedi knight also defense spec'ed that crafts jedi armor.


How did you hear of us?

I played Vanguard with Jezerai, Lark, Menemas, and Sendiwen.


Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?

Aside from spending hours and hours of time with the above listed folks Khaeden has met Jag and befriended Sabinae IC.


What Roleplay games have you participated in?

Table top D&D, Ultima Online, Everquest 2, Star Wars Galaxies, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, World of Warcraft (for the first year it was out) and Rift.  I dabbled in a multitude of other MMO's, but these are the games where I spent a significant amount of time.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?

Fun times and Good conversation.

Tell us of your past.

As much as I'd like to tell you something dramatic or intensely interesting...I was simply recruited by a jedi at an early age and most of my memories are of the studies of a youngling working to be a padawan.  Eventually I was sent to Tython for advanced training.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?

I enjoy hunting down artifacts of any kind.  Particularly jedi artifacts because it furthers my knowledge and understanding of the Force and our history, and it means I'm not on duty hunting down Sith or their artifacts!  During those travels I keep a keen eye out for crystals to work with for lightsabers as I also enjoy the distraction provided by the intricacy and focus required in working with those gems.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

I've never really given this much thought.  As a shadow, one never knows what kind or how much danger the next moment brings.  If I had to choose a future it would be one where I spent more time imparting knowledge onto the next generation and then retiring to the local gathering spot to relax and tell "war" stories with friends old and new!

Some of my absolute favorite RP memories are from being a part of Khaeden's guild in VG.  He was a capable, fair, fun and generous leader.  Between him and Jez, I had simply the best foils for Lyrima's antics.
