We could fake it by assigning each person who wanted it a forum with moderator privileges and limit new threads to the "owner".  I don't know if that would put undue stress on the board though.  We'd definitely have to bury them so the forum list didn't get outrageously huge.

I could do something like Dee said, and make it so only Members or Veterans could see the blog. Did you want to be the test subject for that Lyrima?

Ok, I created a new forum like Dee described right here.

It's at http://sagafamily.org/index.php?board=81.0

People can respond to topics you create, but only you (the moderator) and Admins (like me!) can create new topics. 

You should also be able to sticky stuff if you want a FAQ's or general information about your likes/dislikes or whatever. 

Oh, and you can lock topics if you don't want people to be able to respond to them, but I wouldn't do it unless you need to.

Argh. I found almost everyone elses blog intact, but yours is umm.. well... empty. I will continue to hunt down the posts!

Oooh. You know..that's because Ime was trying to do something with my blog to bring it back again.

When I was a mod, I often saw a hidden forum for my blog but I couldn't access it and she was not happy to find I could see it on the drop down list of forums to visit.

In any case, I think it IS there...just have to track it down.

Would it help if I contacted Ime to ask where she put it?
