The Frostfell Ball Challenge

[Anaris]

It was a windy pre-Frostfell evening, and Saga patrons were gathered about the tavern.  Anaris walks in, flushed and visibly bothered by something.  She gestures to the barkeep to please bring her a flute of her favorite fayberry sparkling wine.  The tavern patrons, noticing she is in an irritable mood, wonder what is the matter.  Oozag, Menemas, Panacea and Zerzal join Anaris at her table and she tells them why she upset.  Apparently a Barbarian suitor has not behaved as she expects her suitors to behave, and so she has decided to take away his courtship privileges.  And so the conversation ensued, full of misunderstandings, tongue-in-cheek, and your usual late-night Saga rhetoric which ultimately led to a Frostfell challenge of sorts between Oozag and Anaris, at Zerzal's expense...

((The following are screenshots of the RP dialogue from last night, for background story and amusement (we've got some funny people in this guild haha).  Sadly I don't have a transcript of it, so I went back and took SS of it.  You might have to click on each image to read it so it enlarges, unless Namae can fix it so that they're legible!!  Apologies to Njorn, Jasyn, Flann, Wystro, Mabb, and Pryce, who were not there to defend themselves!  *grin*

((I don't know what happened to the SS with the ad I wrote for her but it went something like this:  "Young and....exotic Teir'dal Paladinesse with possession of the sword of Marr seeks dashing and talented Koada'dal Troubadour to sing the Eternal Song together..."  To which Zerzal misunderstood the word "exotic" as follows: ))

The two of you, quickly return to your homes and put on your finest Oceansfull dresses!  Renei, assume your Koada'dal illusion!

We are going to the theater, for the matinee show!

*dashes out of the tavern so she can make her hair appointment at the spa*

  Sorry I missed that! Poor Lady Zerzal! Where are all of Saga's Wystro's and Pryce's, anyway? And what would a high elven Kuladen bard be like, anyway?

Err.. me? Ok, but ye'll have ter excuse my accent. *invokes Koada'Dal illusion form* The illusion doesnay do much ter hide it. What matinée show does this be?

Oh Namae, do not worry about the accent!  Just...you know, don't speak much.   You shall be playing the role of the quiet, mysterious Koada'dal duchess.  It is a theater after all!

I'm not sure what the musical is about, but it is titled "The Blue Man Group"  so you know they have to be Teir'dal Troubadors of Qeynosian citizenship!

*beams a smile*

It's a start!  Then we'll catch a showing of "Riverdance" not to be confused with "Rivervale Dancers"....  Apparently Riverdance style of dancing originated in Felwithe, so you know the perfomers will be Koada'dal ! 

*eyes Renei*

Ok, you need a different robe....

*fetches one out of her bag*

Here you g.... AAAH!  JASYN!   Why is there an ale stain on this velvet robe?!!  I know it's not mine!  I don't even drink ale!

*fumes*

Well, um.... I reckon... I... erm... FLANN did it!

* Jasyn points over Anaris' shoulder and ducks just out of range of her 'daggers of icy death' stare.
