Greetings!  Pardon any hiccups I have or unfortunate OOC mishaps I may have...this is my first opportunity to play on a RP server.  I was excited to see a guild group that looks to be such a good fit for what I'm looking for.  I'm excited to jump in and get involved and learn more about you all.  Any suggestions or CC is welcome. 
My character is a work-in-progress and I'm still very much fleshing out her personality, so changes will likely happen, particularly as I get more comfortable w the RP aspect.  Thanks for being patient!

I will be rolling several alts but unsure of details atm.  My Spellslinger is what I fell in love with during Beta so I will roll her first, then add alts as the inspiration strikes.)

Is there anyone you have got to know from the family, IC or OOC?
Not a soul.  But I am looking forward to it!


What types of games have you participated in? (include all types, such as pen/paper or MMORPGs, PC, Console, board games, card games.)
Oh, geez....better to ask what haven't I played.  We are a family of gamers, so there's always something going on.  I am currently only playing WoW online, but have played many others....PC game addict, love co-op board games (especially Arkham but Flashpoint and Pandemic are great when we are out of town for work), Flux card games are popular around here too.....wow.  I should probably consider Gamers Anon....

What other games are you interested in that Saga participates or is moving towards?
I've played GW2 but am currently only playing WoW....as much as it sounds like I'm constantly playing, I really don't have time to dedicate to more than a couple games.

What aspects of gaming have you enjoyed in the past and/or looking forward to enjoying with Saga? Light raiding, dungeon delving, situational roleplay, story-writing, crafting, PvP, etc.
I love casual raiding (no interest in hammering out Realm Firsts...been there, done that, bought the No-Doz), any group events are fun to me, more fun with friends....I love crafting and am fascinated by the housing aspect of WS so will probably focus on maxxing out my Architect skill a lot, the RP is all new to  me but I love to write (although I'm incredibly out of practice!!), so I'll be brushing off my keyboard for that aspect....I've played PVP but I don't particularly enjoy it...but I can be coerced into healing if you're desperate....HINT:  I can be bribed with chocolate. 



What are you looking for as a member of our guild?
Friendship, fun, intelligent humor...a reason to keep logging in beyond a new piece of gear.

Tell us of your past.
My name is Etiania.  (Don't snort like that...it's a family name.)  I'm sort of the Black Sheep of the family, and Family is with a capital "F" where I come from.  Ever since I graduated Med School, my parents were after me to settle down, join the family business, get married, have pointy-eared babies...But it never felt right to me. I always wanted to go out and explore the world, I just didn't plan on doing it like this. 

My mom would tell you I'm scatterbrained and need to focus more on my healing arts.  That's the Family Business, you know?  And I'm good at it...but I don't want it to be my whole life.  There's a whole world out there just waiting. 

I had an older brother.  If the Fall hadn't happened, he would still be the Golden Child and I could go off and do my own thing, and Mom and Dad could've focused on him instead of pinning all their hopes on me.  When things went to hell at home, he was on the front lines with my dad, treating all the sick.  We lost them to the Ravenous after the blockade. 

Mom got wind of what was happening on the front lines, and used every favor she had to bribe our way out with the Exiles, telling them we'd dedicate our lives to healing the other Exiles wounded in battle.  (Yeah, thanks for signing me on for that, Mom....Not like I didn't have plans or anything.....)  We got split up and I have no idea where she is now.   I'll live up to that bargain, but I've got plans of my own and I intend to implement them. 

I can't wait to venture out into this new world on my own, under my own terms.   Well, on my own with a little help from some new friends I hope I can make.  Friends that I hope will see me for who I am instead of my family's last name. 

I should also probably tell you that I get cranky when I'm hungry.  I'm not responsible for anything I say when I need food.  It helps to throw chocolate in my general direction.  I may not be able to taste it, but smelling it is almost just as good. 


What hobbies and quests do you presently have?

Well, I'm a healer.  It's in my genes. But I don't like to just fix people, I like to fix things.  Build things. Which, as it turns out, is a good thing, because I don't really think my mom got all our mechanical parts from a reputable dealer and I have a few, ahem....mechanical difficulties... with a couple of my enhancements. 
As soon as I got my own place after Med School, I was always rearranging furniture, taking stuff apart, putting it back together, tearing out walls, that kind of thing.  I had a profitable little side home-decor business that paid for a couple of my less useful mechanical enhancements.  (If you ever meet my mom, just please don't tell her...she thinks the eyebrow piercings are functional.)
I like to garden, and I'm a decent cook.



Where do you see yourself in the future?
I'm looking forward to making new friends and a new life for myself on a new planet.  I'm a little nervous about what might happen, but nothing ventured, nothing gained! 
I'm shy at first but I get chatty and I'm a very loyal friend if you take the time to get to know me.  I'll have your back in any fight, and I'll patch you up when it's all done.

Welcome to the Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.

Thank you for filling out the Roster Card. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in Wildstar so they can get to know you.

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds have formed, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.
