HAH yeah right, like I know anything about football players. When I hear the words "tight end" it conjures up images, not of football, but of a well defined tush.

I told PG he should play - he actually would do well I think, having played football and such and knowing all the players names. I'll ask him again.

Tanuvan is in, just has to join officially but I got him the invite. I think one more yet to join will, that leaves us in need of one, maybe two!

Would folks want to try drafting live all together? Maybe over the long weekend? Sat-Mon? You can customize the player list and not draft live...but this would be fun if we could swing it for a time at least most could join I think...

What about Noamuth? Who else could we get this year?

Okay, league is full!

I tenatively set a draft time for Wednesday evening, 6:30 west coast time, 9:30 eastern. I am very open to suggestions on better timing!

I will post a new thread now that the league is full...for a draft list, advice, and chatter.

Well..honestly after the great braking of teh curse and defeating the Yankees last time....really it's hard to feel too aweful right?

Oh right..nevermind...one cannot have an emotionally stable conversation about baseball with a Sox fan.

The time can be changed based on feedback too...so lest see how that timing works in general? I had originally wanted to do it today a week or so back, but it took a little longer for all to join so that seemed impossible.

Well, since you asked. The problem that I have with the Sox right now is that they seem willing to sacrafice the team's ability to compete and remain in contention for the sake of profit. It is my belief that if the team expects me to spend money to see them or wear their logos, that they do what is necassary to contend for a championship. They've sold us short for two years now, ever since the 04 series. They use the excuse that they won't sacrafice the future to win now for two years in a row, when the Yankees (as an example of the deal only not out of bitterness) make a deal at the deadline for Abreau and Lidle, giving up next to nothing. Why couldn't the Sox make that deal? Why didn't they make the Oswalt deal, they decided to keep Hansen and Lester and not deal Crisp and either Loretta and Lowell. Then everone started tanking. The pitchers they decided to keep aren't pitching well, the hitters stopped hitting. Make a deal you spineless excuse for a GM.
