Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in EQ2 so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out to be part of Saga in-game. You can do it now or in the future. You can fill one out even if you do not wish to join the larger family. There is no pressure, and no rush. Take your time and look around.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

How did you hear of us? I have seen varouis guild members in the lands. Looked up the guild and then saw you were recruiting.

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC? Flann.

What Roleplay games have you participated in? Dungeons and Dragons Live events, Everquest II, GemstoneIII, Bloodlines, Tunnels and Trolls.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild? I have limited time in the lands, so I am looking for something to belong that believes in the greater good of all. To share endless adventures with as many different souls as possible.

Please answer the following three questions, IN CHARACTER:

Tell us of your past: Being born into riches and higher learning, I was imprisoned by a castle of scholars encompassed by a moat of high society. My spirit grew ever restless with hours upon hours of study and social events. I could no longer contain the fire of rage and battle that grew daily within me. I never had the true patience or mental aptitude to harness the magic that freely flows within my veins. Under the shadow of secrecy I persuaded the captain of the guard employed to protect my family to train me in the arts of battle. With each passing day my thirst for this new knowledge grew beyond my wildest dreams. I had found my calling and there was no one who could or would stand in my way. Though I attempted to keep my training secret, eventually my father found me out. To my surprise he was not angry with me, more he was proud that I had finally set my mind to something and followed through with every ounce of energy I could muster. Still, I had to be (removed) from my family for not following the ways of magic that had been passed down countless generations from father to son. I am pained not to be able to carry the name of my house, or speak much of it for that matter. As a parting gift to ensure that I always remember from who and where I came, my father bestowed upon me an ever burning flame that shall guide my sword hand in battle. My fathers' last spoken words to me were as follows. "In time of peril when your path grows dim by the shadows of evil. Forever shall this flame be a beacon and a remembrance of your beginnings. For it will burn everlasting as a symbol of the passion in your heart. Even unto your dieing breath, when the beating of the heart within the steel is only but an echo of a time long past, this flame with burn."
 
What hobbies and directives do you presently have? I shall become an equal if not greater than the most honored High Elf who instructed me. To server the greater good of who are in need of help.

Where do you see yourself in the future? My future is one of many paths. Only on that day I begin one of many journies can I say where it shall lead.
