Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in EQ2 so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out immediately, but do not delay for too long. Take your time and look around.

After approximately two weeks, if the council approves your promotion to full member, you will then be given a quest journal which will be placed in the Library.  The quest requires that you interview at least three people who are of Member or better rank in game.  You will need to post their response and your reflections, if any, about the interview.  The process to have your application for Veteran status will take a period of at least two weeks.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Welcome!

Please answer the following three questions, IN CHARACTER:

Tell us of your past.
Born and raised in Kelethin, like most wood elves, in a tree.  The forest life was too constricting, the pace to slow, and the houses are too freaking high off the ground.   The elders and I did not see eye to eye.  They felt I was rash, over ambitious, and short tempered.  The elders are idiots.

So I packed by bags and moved to the big city.  Qeynos offered excitement, opportunity, and a chance to live where sleep walking doesn't result in a broken neck.  Now I plan on taking advantage in my new found freedom to learn what I can, enjoy life, and make my mark on the world.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?
When I am not stabbing bad things with pointy weapons or blasting them with my primal might, I enjoy reading.  Yes reading, wood elves can read.  Just because the rest of my species are running around after wild game and sleeping on rocks doesn't mean we are uncivilized.   Well, I am civilized . . . and if you question me again I will stick you with something pointy and melt your face off with my primal might . . .

Where do you see yourself in the future?
Slow down there Hoss . . . I just got my moss covered elven butt out from under the canopy of trees where I grew up . . . let me enjoy my present before you get all futurey on me!  I am still getting use to looking at the sky with out a bunch of leaves in my face.  You are starting to sound like the bloody elders back home!  BACK OFF!!!

Though I have thought about writing a book . . .
