Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in EQ2 so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out immediately, but do not delay for too long. Take your time and look around.

After approximately two weeks, if the council approves your promotion to full member, you will then be given a quest journal which will be placed in the Library.  The quest requires that you interview at least three people who are of Member or better rank in game.  You will need to post their response and your reflections, if any, about the interview.  The process to have your application for Veteran status will take a period of at least two weeks.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

Greetings, I am Elaidah.  I am a female Teir'dal ranger and tend to be chaotic neutral(i think).

Do you have alternate characters (freeport/qeynos/etc.) (horde/alliance/etc.) on the same server?

I have a few alternates and one main.  My main and original character that was begun 2 days before the server went live is Nayomae, 80th Teir'dal inquisitor.  She is a member of Keepers of Darklight. There is Genashai, Teir'dal Necromancer who is a member of Chosen of Mistmoore.  Next there is Oudelia, Teir'dal Shadow Knight, who is also a member of Chosen of Mistmoore.  Followed by Cumina who is a Kerran Bruiser and a member of Keepers of Darklight.  I also have a 35? level Teir'dal wizard named Cayomae who is Nayo's half sister. The baby of my alt family is Genadana, a barbarian mystic who is level 9.  Of all of these, Nayo is a mid 60s alchemist while the rest are still developing tradeskills.

How did you hear of us?

I had never played a Qeynos based character beyond level 10? and so I had no idea of good quality guilds.  I know Kagemaru from eq and so i asked him for suggestions since he was far more social on our server than I generally was. He suggested Saga.  Now my other long time eq friend Janthos was also a member of saga and Elaidah and him were a couple so after making sure he would not have an issue if she joined as well, I approached Boudeccai, who i didn't know was the leader, to inquire about the guild. 

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?

I know Janthos and Anneya fairly well IC and OOC.

What Roleplay games have you participated in?

Old school member of Everquest on the Firiona Vie and Rodcet Nife servers.  World of Warcraft on Rexxar server. Lineage 2.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?

Looking for friendly, helpful people who like to enjoy the game, quest, chat and explore.  Most of all, to Roleplay and enjoy my time in Norrath with people who have the same attitude.

Tell us of your past.

I was born in Neriak to a mother who worked as a barmaid and courtesan.  I never knew my father and my mother never let on she did either.  I spent a lot of time in the back alleys of Neriak.  When your mother spends all her time in bars or on her back, you find you have a lot of time on your own.  She encouraged me to free some of Neriak's wealthier patrons of their coin pouches and anything else of value I could find.  So began my life as a thief.  Queen Chistanos had an agreement with House De'Morte and so these flesh feeders prowled the very streets I did.  One powerful lord had visited my mother's bar and spotted me slipping in and out to pass my stolen coin to my mother.  He made inquiries and learned who's daughter I was.  It seemed he had a taste for young virgins and he wanted me.  He cornered my mother and threatened to alert the guards to my thievery if she didn't send me to his quarters the next day.  My mother told me of his threat and that she intended to send me to the home of this lord vampire and that I had better damn well go if I knew what was good for me.  The next morning I left as usual and fled the city.  Since then, I'm ever watchful.  One such as him does not loose his prey easily.  If our paths should cross again, I'm certain my life will be forfeit.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?

Archery!  I spend much of my time practicing with my bow to perfect my skills.  When I'm not doing that I like to explore and see more of Norrath.  There is so much to see!

Where do you see yourself in the future?

*she looks a bit dreamy eyed as she ponders that question*  I hope to be at the side of a strong man who does not judge me by where I come from but instead sees the person I am inside.  That while I may come from the streets, I shall grow to become a lady.  I would hope to gather around me companions who have honor and courage.  That while I was born the daughter of a whore and grew to be a thief, my destiny lies elsewhere.
