Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga. 

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds are forming, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in EQ2 so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out immediately, but do not delay for too long. Take your time and look around.

After approximately two weeks, if the council approves your promotion to full member, you will then be given a quest journal which will be placed in the Library.  The quest requires that you interview at least three people who are of Member or better rank in game.  You will need to post their response and your reflections, if any, about the interview.  The process to have your application for Veteran status will take a period of at least two weeks.

Just a reminder: after your first post you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and tradeskills.

I am Koisc of the Halas Highlands.  I am the 8th son of Artur and Margot, and the youngest of 12.  I am a proud Barbarian warrior.  My sworn oath is the Queen Antonia Bayle.  I am soon to be apprenticed as a smithie.

No.

How did you hear of us? 

Buddy of mine from work suggested Saga couple years ago when he played EQ2.  Have since lost track of him as he transferred out of state.

Tell us of your past.

In my 15th season, raiders swarmed our village and practically wiped it off the map.  Some of my family fled to the hills.  I and my brothers stayed and fought.  We lost Jamus and Ernst that day.  The village couldn't support those who survived, so I left.  Never been one for schooling, I spoke with my sword.  I hired out to any and all who had ready pay.  I didn't care what or who they were as long as I was fed and had coin left over for between battles.

Somewhere in all that, I was lucky to find Leena, my wife.  She tried many times to get me to see beyond the violence, but I didn't listen.  I insisted that we needed a home and food and clothing and that she be thankful that I could provide that for us.  Just after our 16th year of joining, that violence took her from me.  Her dying wish was that I find another way to live my life, so I left the battlefield and declared fealty to Queen Antonia Bayle in the hopes of finding redemption. 

I have no idea how to obtain it or if it's even possible.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?

I'm a warrior.  I live only to honor my wife's dying wish.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

Cleansed of the Darkness.
