Sorry I missed it.  What should have been a 2 hour journey home from Brussels turned into a 9 fiasco involving a broken plane, a broken car, and lots and lots of cursing.  I missed my planned evening out and the chat night.

Well, glad you're okay anyway.  And no worries at all about missing the chat.  There will always be another.

Cars aren't people - they're just stuff.  Unless they have names and then I'm less sure.  But the main thing is that you're okay.

Eek! Sorry to hear about the awful travel ordeal. My reason for missing the chat was much less exotic--just a minor family crises, but I wouldn't have been setting a  good example if I suddenly ducked out for an online chat, no matter how much I wanted to!

Hi all

Just wanted to confirm that Friday chat nights are still happening.  Changed the subject title accordingly.  Hope to talk with some of you then.  In large part this serves as just a social excuse to get everyone used to Mumble, but it's proving valuable for that alone if for nothing else.  It's a great tool, but it's got some quirks.  And somehow I have a feeling once we finally have a game to play (those who are waiting for TOR, anyway) one of the last things anyone will want to be doing is dicking around for an hour trying to get the voice chat working.

Also, you know, it's good just to talk with you.  Starting at 8pm EST which I know is a bit early for the west coast, but people tend to hang around for quite a bit.  Drop in as you can.
