Where is the shoutbox?

Is the shoutbox different from the "Quick Chat" box to the right of the forum web page?

What resolution are you using?  What web browser? I'm not sure if that would even affect things though.

I checked using internet explorer and firefox. Its that chatting interface that was above the mumble widget.

It used to work on this laptop, now it is just gone. Also quick chat is the shoutbox.

It can be shrunk/hidden.....have you done that?

Yah - at Menemas.  If you see an orphaned "plus" sign just floating around, try clicking on that to expand the box.

Strange - I cant find a plus. I can minimize and expand the mumble chat interface but no shout box.

Is it just people who were recently promoted from TOR Recruit to TOR Member who are having problems? Maybe a permissions issues with the TOR Member tag?

Shoutbox would use Javascript, but it wouldn't use Java or even Ajax.

It's not hidden by a +/- either. I can see from the HTML that it just doesn't exist. It's not the case that it exists (i.e. PHP is producing the Shoutbox HTML) but is somehow hidden (i.e. enclosed in style tags that hide the block).

Found it! TOR Members should be able to see the shout box now.
