This is very sad news.  Uncannily enough, my girlfriend and I just yesterday watched the entire Lord of the Ring special edition trilogy.

The passion of people for this art is wonderfully documented. (By the way, my planned legacy name is the name of my old fencing master, who was a member of the fencing corps in many of the Errol Flynn movies. That's a club that is sadly getting smaller every day. What a group of remarkable men and true Romantics.)
