Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of this forum and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds have formed, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here who will not see you in TOR so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out to be part of Saga in-game. You can do it now or in the future. You can fill one out even if you do not wish to join the larger family. There is no pressure, and no rush. Take your time and look around.

Just a reminder: After your board rank is changed to recruit, you will be granted access to the private game related forums, such as questing and crew skills.

Introduction:

-The scoundrel, Captain Redfoot, is a human male. He is handy with a blaster but invaluable when doling out the various triage techniques he learned as a combat medic serving the Republic years ago. He and his current known associates, are well known amongst the scavengers and underworld traders of the galaxy and have been perfecting their cybertech skills to an almost expert level.


Do you have alternate characters on the same server?

-No

How did you hear of us?

-I used the SWTOR forums to find and visit the homes of several server guilds, read charters and perused forums. Saga seemed like a good fit. I chatted up Kit in game and expressed my interest.

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?

-As I mentioned, I've spoken to Kit. I spent some time the other night in SAGAOOC.

What Roleplay games have you participated in?

-When I was 10 my older brother and his friends had a weekly D&D game at his apartment upstairs from my parents. I sat there week after week listening to their adventures wishing like heck they'd let me join in the fun. One week one of their regular party members was a no show and the Dungeon Master lent me a pre-made character he had handy. 5 minutes into my first adventure we were ambused by orcs. My brother and his friends were quickly incapacitated leaving me in the borrowed skin of Stratos the Dwarven warrior weilding his trusty spiked mace to save the day. My first roll of a d20 ever came up 20 taking out the lead orc and buying time for the rest of the band to recover and win the day. Been hooked ever since.

In the digital age I played the text based MUD Gemstone III back in the days of AOL ringing up a $200 monthly before I knew what hit me. In 2000 Everquest came out and kept me enthralled for a good 5 years. I played WoW for about a month but found the cartoony graphics and awful community a major turn off. Played EQ2 for a good couple of years and had some fun times. I've at least tried most of the big name MMOs that have come out in the last decade; SWG, Dark Ages of Camelot, Conan, Rift etc.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?

-Like minded folks with which to enjoy my digital playtime.

-Yes

-I don't like to talk about it much. I will tell you that I was a combat medic in an elite Republican Special Forces unit. There was a girl, there was her father the general, there was some........unpleasantness and a dishonorable discharge.

What hobbies and directives do you presently have?

-Killing Skavak, surviving, killing Skavak, working on my ship, killing Skavak, whoring my way across the galaxy, oh, and killing Skavak.

Where do you see yourself in the future?

-I was thinking I might kill Skavak then maybe open a Cantina somewhere in the outer rim territories.
