Zemnari

Zemnari dozed peacefully in the shade of a  small tree on a busy street in Lions Arch. His tail whipping gracefully back and forth as he dreamt of running through strawberry fields. A soft purr could be heard, but it is best not to mention to a charr that it is purring. As Zemnari slept, his co workers were busy loading their caravan with their equipment. As it would be, Zem was hired a few years back by a grumpy Asura who ran a company that escorted academics and the insane a like to dangerous places in Tyria. Escorting them through dungeons on their search for some ancient doo-hickey or some were just looking to darken their undergarments as they experience the world outside their walled cities. The company had been profitable for Zem, not in monetary amounts, as the Asura was a stingy fellow. But in the regards that Zem could sleep most of his days and some how still come out with coin in his purse, enough to get a few drinks at a tavern every night. Some would call Zem lazy, because of how often he slept, but he called himself consistent.

Zem sleep was abruptly interrupted by the smack of a bamboo stick across his face. His eyes snapped open and he let out a growl. His employer the Asura, leaned in close, throwing the stick to the side, nose to nose with the giant charr. "Listen here you lazy cat! I have had it with your so called pets, they keep harassing the customers! Control them, or next time I will slit their throats and feed them to you!"  Zem blinked and then roared viciously at the Asura in a display of his species primal dominance. But the Asura, stood their un impressed. The asura grabbed Zem's whiskers and pulled them in opposite directions, until Zem's roar became a soft sad whimper. "Now, go help the others get the gear ready!" The Asura snapped as he turned and left to go tend to his customers.

Zem arched his back and stretched out on the ground, letting out a soft growl. He jumped to his feet in a quick motion and mosied over to the caravan. He slipped into the back of it, and found  a nice comfy spot tucked in between the boxes of gun powder and some barrels of oil. He curled up and closed his big eyes, and went back to his strawberry fields.
