[GW2] Sabinae's Quest Journal

On the table before you lies a large cookbook-sized journal. The tan cover has a light dusting of flour and a slight sweet smell to it. It is decorated with bits of wolf fur and moa feathers.

There is a note attached, which reads:
Sabinae, this is your Veteran Quest Journal. In it you may record your findings as you go about your Quest. Do not be surprised, however, if you notice messages in the margins. We may at times glance over your writings and add thoughts of our own.

*Sabinae wanders into the study, smiling as she takes her journal off the shelf and dropping it on the table.  She takes a seat, grabs the feather pen and begins writing...*

I've decided it might be a good time to chronicle my adventures, specifically my run-ins and outs with the wilds of Tyria.  In an effort to get to know some of my new found friends, I became that annoying, curious little girl I use to be and badgered them with questions.  As anyone who knows me can tell, I absolutely adore animals, so I felt this was something that could really bring us together!

    The first person I came across was Glynna, who was being closely tailed by a big beautiful bear, who is named Gimli!  Glynna is a Norn, so she made me feel absolutely tiny!  I'm glad she's so nice though, as we have so much in common, especially the love of animals.  We first met hunting in the wilds outside Rata Sum.  Through giants, sharks, and some of the nastiest jaguars I've ever met, the best I could come up with was "How did you meet Gimli?"   Well, the story was so sad, but so filled with love!   One day, Glynna and her sister were out in the wilds hunting boar when they were attacked outside a cave by a large brown bear.  Unfortunately, she was a fierce opponent and they had to slay her to save themselves.  But a little bit of happiness came through--from out of the cave wandered the sweetest little bear cub ever!   Glynna took him in, protected and cared for him, and named him Gimli.  Now Glynna and Gimli are best friends, wandering the world in search of epic deeds and songs to be sung!  So sweet!  Also, Glynna invited me to drink and tell stories with her in Hoelbrak someday!!

A shadow flits across the room, pausing around various items.

It seems to pause for a moment longer at a journal laying on a table.

It continues to flit around and then abruptly leaves.

In its wake it leaves the room a little less shiny and curiously an open book.

" looking forward to more of your adventures " is scribbled neatly on the margins of a page.

The book also has a new friend keeping it company.

*Tonight, Sabi hitches her chair up to the table, touches the tip of that quill to her tongue, gives a dip into the ink and...*

      So I was wandering around in Lion's Arch.  Why?  Well, I love the fountain!!   Also, the omnomberry treats are so delicious!  So many street vendors!  I had just wandered out of a shop with an armload of dyes when I ran into Ceniwen.   Now, Ceniwen is a Sylvari, and sooo pretty, but my favorite thing about her is the way she talks, so mystical and proper!   I kept asking her questions about the Dream and being, well, who she was... we had a fascinating conversation about human dreaming--she is so very thoughtful.  Then she introduced me to Caithe! (her sister!)   After that I just couldn't shut up, she was so amazing!  It turns out, Ceniwen is a Necromancer, who gives these beautiful little beings a second, third or even fourth chance at living.  Amazing.  Ian is her friend who heals her in fights and watches out for her, and Bip and Bop are these cute little devils who help too!   She said some people think Necromancers are unnatural, but I can't think of life and death in any different way... it's all so natural to me!   

It was a pleasure seeing all of our friends together.  Ceniwen and I, my little guy Zazzy (he's a Devourer) along with Ian, Bip and Bop!   I can't wait to see them all again!

Please, if you see me, ask about Glynna and Ceniwen.  I would even like to introduce you to them, they are so amazing!

*Smiling ear to ear, she lays down the quill and flounces out, hurrying to catch up with Zazzy*
