Welcome to Saga guild!

Please be sure to read the posts stickied at the top of these forums and be sure you agree with the rules and charter. This guild has a history, as you will see. It is, well, a Saga.

Saga is also part of a multi-game guild formed when a few wandered off to try other games. Sister guilds have formed, and we all come here to check on each other. This multi-game guild is currently called SagaFamily. We are indeed a family.

To become part of that, please take the time to fill out the attached roster card and post it to this message. This procedure is for the others here so they can get to know you. You do not have to fill the roster card out to be part of Saga in-game. You can do it now or in the future. You can fill one out even if you do not wish to join the larger family. There is no pressure, and no rush. Take your time and look around.

As an Initiate, you should now have access to the private game related forums, such as questing and crafting disciplines.

Hello! Thanks for having me 

Couple quick questions. I didn't see the rules or charter in the stickies, where might I find them? Since my introduction is for EQN, do I need to apply to GW2 separately? And if I don't know what character I'll be playing EQN as, should I fill out the roster card for GW2 instead, or just hold off?

Sorry for the questions, I haven't had to apply to a guild in many years >_>

Corsair is correct. That link sends you to the FAQ and Rules forum.

You do not need to apply to GW2 separately. A member in one Saga game is a member in all Saga games.
If you are actively playing GW2, I'll move your post to that forum for organizational purposes so people there can know you a little better.

As for character info, pick one. It's kind of antiquated as we moved to multi-guilds and recruiting when a game isn't released yet. But we just want to get a little bit of insight into your Roleplaying style and personality.

I'll do a roster card with Wragg then, since he's basically my GW2 main and there is a good chance he will see a return in EQN as well.

Wragg's past is a sordid mess mostly clouded in booze-induced fog and forgotten memories. It's believed that he murdered his krewe lead years ago and fled Rata Sum. At some point he ended up joining a group of pirates known as the Stormsails and ran with them for a number of years. Things went from bad to worse, as they were betrayed by their captain, sold to slavery, marooned, then escaped only to have their make-shift ship sink, scattering the crew and likely drowning most of them. Wragg made it to shore where he vowed revenge and that he would find the survivors and rally the Stormsails. None of that really came to be, as he ended up getting side tracked with personal agendas and getting into new kinds of trouble.

Do you have alternate characters on the same server?
Eyjolf and Yngvild (brother and sister). A reincarnation of a previous character, Dafari. And Penny the street magician.

How did you hear of us?
When Saga joined the Hammers. Now a Hammer joins Saga!

Is there anyone you have gotten to know from our family, IC or OOC?
Many! At this point, I think I've met pretty much every Saga member that plays or has played GW2, and I've come to know most of them very well!

What types of roleplay games have you participated in?
Many MMOs like WoW, ToR, GW1 and 2, and several other MMOs I've messed around in or played briefly (by myself usually). I've played tons of computer RPGs like The Elder Scrolls series, most of the Bioware titles, Diablo 1 and 2 and countless clones, several varieties of JRPGs, and while I've never really played a traditional P&P RPG, I've played some card games and board games with a heavy RPG feel to them.

What are you looking for as a member of our guild?
Fun times of all kinds. RP, adventuring, dungeons, or just goofing off and everything in between. Especially RP. Did I mention RP?

What for?! Did some one send you? No wait, I sent myself. Well, I'll give ya the amputated version o' things. Bad times in Rata Sum, fell in with pirates... ah the good ol' days. More bad times, a shipwreck... that I may have been responsible for... landed in with some folks, good pay. Now I'm here. Any o' you know about strange metal ingots by any chance? Got one fer sale if yer interested.

What hobbies and quests do you presently have?
Hobbies? Like... stealin', fornicatin', huntin' fer treasure of all kinds in all places, meetin' new people, especially ladies for number two? I got lots o' hobbies. As fer quests, guess it would be to find and rescue the rest o' me old crew— that be ship crew, not asura krewe— and get revenge on our former captain, presumin' he's even alive still.

Where do you see yourself in the future?
I'd love to be on a ship again. But I suspect at the bottom of a bottle is more likely.
