At first I wanted to scream and run ... but then ... I found myself listening and I watched the whole video.  There was something kind of catchy about it.  Probably it was just that I could make out the word "chocolate" and anything about chocolate has got to be good.

Babymetal indeed.  Try googling the lyrics translation, too, if you haven't.  Definitely not your standard metal fare.  Most of it's still unintelligible in English, too.  Bubble gum pop meets chocolate bar metal?  The novelty somehow makes it even more enjoyable.

I kid you not, I literally keep a playlist of extreme metal stuff like Meshuggah, Gojira, and Amon Amarth mixed with tons of anime OP/ED songs and Vocaloid. A new challenger has entered the arena... er, playlist.
