Anyone interested in the new EQ Progression server?
It's in Beta now for another couple of weeks.
Just Classic zones to start for 6 months.
I'll be giving it a try. As are the folks of Tapiola Sankarit which I've chatted with a bit.

I most likely won't be giving it a go.  I think I'd rather remember old school EQ as inaccurately as possible prior to EQN launch to reduce my bias.  Of course, I may have dementia on my side by then.

Briefly toyed with the idea. And kind of went into a bloodrage today when they posted that picture of Phinegel Autropos on Facebook.

But even the thought of pulling Kedge Keep can't overshadow the fun I'm having in GW2 right now. I'd love to hear of adventures in Norrath that everyone has, though!

I"ll not be trying it.  Zone overhauls and item changes aren't being reverted to what they were originally, so its just gated content and a race that I'm not interested in.

I found that P99 seemed too old.
The lack of spell lists is probably my biggest complaint. Losing all spells when you die. No maps at all (when I can just alt-tab anyway).
I'll probably go for it for awhile because I'm already a Silver member. And I may set-up my daughter on an account to play with.
What age was everyone's kids when they started MMOs?

Those things are why I like it.  *shrugs*  You get used to the old-school nature fast enough.

I was able to run P99, then my old computer crashed out. Built a new one though. However I cannot for the life of me seem to recover my old P99 characters.

So with this coming along, I made a character on Ragefire. I am enjoying it.....and I would gladly join Tapioca Sanskrit! (And lord but i mean no disrespect saying that...I thought very highly of those folks. I just love that their name makes me think Tapioca and Sanskrit together.)

I would love to plan an evening or two a week to target planning locations to group up if I can keep up with anyone playing there. I am flexible on character type as well. (I got the name Brunhild so i am toying with a dwarf paladin lass to begin. Beard!)
