...so in my daily morning search for shock-me news to share with Eni while having over-sweetened coffee, I've found these two, and I'm trying to figure out which one is more bizarre (for this morning, anyway)...

The mom going to court to harvest her son's sperm is more....freakishly odd. The sword fight one has a more, "darwin awards", feel.

Oh my, Bou...  *shudders at the thought of who the mother has in mind for the....mother*

It's very sad, that she lost her son (he died because he was punched?!), but then she said this:

"It really wasn't difficult," Evans said of her decision. "It was something that he'd talked about since he was a little boy."

!!!!!

Now, I know she means that her son always wanted to have kids but the way it's put into context in the article made me wince...heh.

Now that Waco, TX story....jeez!

In this day and age when it is the "norm" to be shot by a (presumedly) drunk archer's arrow in broad daylight, I find nothing bizarre about this story.  It's akin to standing in the line of fire in an attempt to stop a gunfight with your bulletproof superhuman selfness.  The Darwin patrol should be all over this one.

The one about the mother and the sperm show you why you should worry about human cloning and genetic manipulation.

This one shows the insane criminal lengths that some people will go to reproduce. The moment you declare your ends justify the means, you've just tossed your humanity out the window.
