lol, hi all

, I thought for some time that this board was shut down, but it turns out I just can't access it from behind my work's firewall for some reason.

I happened across one of Mixxi's posts on the FV Boards and here I am again

I haven't been doing much in the way of MMO's lately. WoW's social atmosphere fell apart with the LFG/LFR stuff, and the game got pretty stale not long after. Most of my gaming has been of the single-player variety since. How've you guys been?

This site's still here. Hasn't gone anywhere.
We've come and gone and grew and shrank, but still here.
Gearing up for Wildstar and EQNext (and Landmark).
You missed SWTOR and GW2.
So, planning on playing UO again, eh? Interesting.
Did a quick search and found out there is also a new game coming out by Lord British, called Shroud of the Avatar

Melodi's coming back in one of the Leagues (League of Shadows is definitely going to be around, not sure about League of Honor).

And I probably shouldn't mention League of ~~Honor~~ (oops--Shadows) in Syll's thread, because he'll rush off there and be all evilly. But then, Syll has always been nothing if not ambiguous.

You have always been among the things I missed most as our gaming ebbed and flowed. You gotta try Landmark, Syll. If only to get your speedy feet wet for EQN.

Hey, I'll definitely be hitting up EQN when it comes out (hopefully sooner rather than later). Are you playing Landmark now? Is it fun?

And yeah, Syll was always very comfortable coasting around in those merry shades of gray

If it makes you feel any better, it always drove Shintou nuts that she went troubadour instead of dirge :p I missed you guys too, had been wondering what you were all up to.

I still have an active EQ2 account (I have a bunch of good-aligned fey/asari all named after cardinal winds. They're not terribly high level though).

I haven't tried GW2 or SWTOR (I keep meaning to try star wars, since I heard it's worth it even if you never play endgame just to go through the storylines as you level up a char, but it's been on the back burner).

I did spend a lot of time playing Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, but that's not exactly an RP environment.

I joined Saga back in the EQ1 days, playing a battle hungry half-elven bard of Rallos Zek who faced the occasional complaint of being a bad influence on the good guys (and the occasional complaint of being a good influence on the bad guys. Yay neutrality! :p). I came over to EQ2, but got pushed out of the game and into WoW by increasing PC requirements for EQ2 and a crappy desktop that couldn't handle them.

If we were playing EQN Landmark, we couldn't say because we are under an NDA.
However, since I can't get in trouble for saying something I'm not doing, I can say we are not in the Alpha yet.

Yeah, if you are around in EQ2, I also suffer from, "lowish level", syndrome. Most often I am awake as Hamhock, but look also for Oozag, or Ellendil.

I think it's pretty safe just to say that Sony is selling founders packs that give you access to Landmark Alpha, and its supposed to launch in just another week or two. And I think it's also safe to say that Saga folks can be suckers for that kind of thing. So tell Mixxi if you happen to get into Alpha. She's organizing. Oh! And she's agreed to be Guildleader for EQN. Isn't that crazy? You have to have been around for ages to appreciate just how funny it is that Mixxi is Guildleader.
