Blaek and I need Saga Goodness...

Some of you may know that Blaek and I are still playing Neverwinter (FTP)

We (I) have finally made it to the end game and I find it even more fun. There are dungeons that folks can ask join. Random groups are formed. There is at least one dungeon that is near impossible to conquer and we know, JUST KNOW, if we had a Saga group with us, we could kill that final boss. We are pretty sure if 5 folks of the right configuration asked to join as a team, that team would drop right into the dungeon.

It's an interesting challenge. The deal is, if the Boss hits anyone, adds spawn. Really bad adds. So if lots of people get hit, lots of adds and we all wipe, quickly. Now there is at least one strategy that will work, but everyone has to be very good at what they do. And it calls for a classic group: tank, dps and cleric.

Blaek has several accounts that have level 60 characters. Neverwinter is based on DnD, in that you have dailies, timer and once in a while powers to use. I think anyone here could quickly pick up how to play any of the characters.

Anyone want to log in on his account and help us out with this (and maybe a few other) dungeons? We are thinking about doing this the weekend of March 15 or 16.

Unfortunately, if you are looking for people to not get hit in Neverwinter, I am not your person.

Maybe devoted cleric, although I think I'm gonna be that. I've the better build than Blaek's character and both my mains are on one account.

You'll want the Ranger... trust me on this... they are Overpowered and Awesome! Not to mention really fun to play! I've not played that high level in Neverwinter, but it really is a true Ranger class (with much less "Loading... Please wait..."

Ranger IS fun. They are overpowered, but not in the end game, such as these dungeons. I'll have to make sure Blaek (the tank) isn't on the same account as his ranger (Halagren!!) If not, you'll be Halagren, then. !!

My character in Neverwinter was a Control Wizard. Depending on what time you are planning your shindig, I could be persuaded to join you. The only thing is, that weekend is likely to be very hectic for me. We are meeting potential adoption children on Sunday and our 5 year old's sister is coming for a 5 hour visit on Saturday.

I have a prior commitment from 1:30pm PST to 7:00pm. If it's after 7 or ends before 1:30pm I can make it. Next weekend I'm totally open. Next week, too.

Should probably mention: I've never played the Neverwinter MMO before. Where do I start?

Hm. Good point about starting. Which profession did you want to play? If you are interested in wizard, I have Lark available. I'll give you the log in and you can play whenever. If you'd like to respec her, I wouldn't mind. Then you can just take her out and see what she can do.

We can do the same with any of the other above listed characters. Blaek and I have a busy Saturday (today) and an open Sunday (tomorrow) so we can work around anyone's schedule. And we can do it again next weekend!

Bahl is out of town this weekend so my attention is likely to be diverted by the needs of my 2 year old. I can have unrestricted play time when she is napping beginning at 2 Pacific if she is being cooperative. I can play anytime but can't promise not to take ninja afks!

Looks like you and Namae are on opposite schedules. Which is fine. We'll game with you, Bou, in the afternoon and with Namae when she gets up.

We'll have the boyz fill in the rest of the group or we'll take pick ups (and expect little from them)

Jez, we are talking about the daily dungeons available to join when you press K. Rhix gives the quest, but you can do them w/o the quest.

If your wizard isn't 60, YOU'll want to take Lark to set her up. Gotta be 60 to join us.
