I was also wondering if there would be interest in pre-launch RP. Since I believe the basic premise of the guild is that we're all together on The Saga during the trip to Nexus, our characters could meet before we land on the planet, perhaps in the ships canteen.

I'll be about not so sure if I will be on mumble as I wander afk quite a bit and jams to loud music but I will do my best. I would love some pre-launch RP! Unfortunately, my two main characters were not on the same ship. I think I will introduce a support character that introduces the group to my characters or something >.>

Oh, and I welcome anyone that wishes to establish any connections with my characters. I find joining in on a guild RP as a new member challenging and a bit intimidating so any pre-established connections would be a great comfort.

I've been toying with the idea of kicking off pre-launch RP for a while, but the problem is I don't know what most of my character's names will be. I saved the one name I HAD to have, but the rest will depend on what is available and how refined the concept is by the time launch happens.

Arcadia and I still haven't decided how we are handling tomorrow night.  We are east coast folk so 3am is pretty crazy.  We might go to bed early tomorrow night and wake up at like 3ish or just try to wake up early.  We'll give you guys a heads up.

Lets face it. If you show up at 5am you will probably get online about the same time as the rest of us. MMO launches are always terrible. Servers will crash. People will die. Devs will sacrifice themselves to the bandwidth gods. Chaos.

It will just be a bunch of us chillin on Mumble for a while as the devs sort out the shitstorm of launch.

When there was all that trouble during name reservation and the devs were saying to be patient because 15,000 people were hitting the page at once, I could only think that it seemed like not many people if that was the number of pre-orders.

It only took 15,000 people to horribly crash their site? Wow. I would have assumed in the 100 of thousands to do that.

I am on east coast time as well, but I believe gith is right. I doubt the launch will happen directly at 3am.  If you decide to stay up Ill be just as sleepy with you.
