Many of you might know that when I am not running around trying to video game my brains out, I work at and own an animation studio. We have recently launched a website for our first project called X-Key and have begun a comic run that will lead up to New York Comic Con where we will be exhibitors at the convention. The first issue of the promotional run is up on our website for free. The website url is www.highoctanerevolution.com.

We are looking forward to releasing lots of content and taking another step forward in pursuit our goal. Really like the look of the comic, particularly some of the frame compositions and the POV blurry-hand stuff after the explosions. Still trying to figure out how the heck we get from the first part to the second part, but I suspect that's the idea. 

Any chance we'll see echoes of any of your game characters in there? You have some really great ones, and I'd love to see them again.

Are you doing the comic in print as well as digital?

Can't wait to hear how things go at New York ComicCon.

We will be doing a print version once all of the issues are complete. We'll sell it as a volume of the whole run. There may be a few Easter eggs of my
game characters in the future.

And I agree, the blur effect after the flash-bang is tremendous. Probably my favourite part. Great art style. I'll add it to my follows when I get home.

Nicely done. I like the whole vibe of the comic and how X-Key is animated. Sort of reminicent of Faith from Mirror's Edge but more playful. And colourful
