First serve on server launch simply because names would have been server specific instead of global but oh well

I also put it in, but got the same results on the timer, and when I got in a second time, the Guild Name field was blank.

Did pressing the big green Reserve button ever do anything? I've only gotten in from the mostly-text version of the website, which pops up rarely.

Wow, what an affair. I was fortunate to finally get a couple of names I was after. For everyone that have had/are struggling with the name reservation I wish I could pour you a drink because when I said this was turning out to be more of a hassle than a benefit I had no idea today would go like this. If anyone is still getting the ?? when trying to save their name all I can say is keep trying as that is how I eventually got all the names I was after.

Oh, and as long as at the top right it says you are logged in just continue hitting the Reserve button. Eventually the reservation window will open. Just check occasionally if you are still logged in because sometimes that times out.

It's really buggy

If you get ? ? It didn't go through apparently. You have to get the countdown thing . She you get the ? ? It won't save the name you picked, it'll just stay blank

Also it looks like it's finally working and I got the name I wanted ! Yay bigby. I'll double check an hour later after it locks in just to be sure


Also reconfirming again that I got The Saga , so good on that front at least

Although if it'd not bigby, it's either vimes or logain or loghain or biggby or nick.
I'm fine with any , but fingers crossed !

It's weird, because earlier today I had gotten a red message that Elandrie was already taken, but now I have the proper countdown.

Saga is a popular guild name and the fact that it is global locked meant we had a lot of competition. Luckily The Saga is pretty good , at least in my eyes.

i wanted to repeat something that was on the forums. this was the only reason I was able to get my name after hours of trying.

Alright guys I'll make this easier. This is for Chrome, It'll work in Firefox as well. When you are on the screen where you can submit your Guild/Character name, click on CTRL/SHIFT/I - a window on the bottom will open. On the top right, click on the >--- button (arrow with 3 lines) - this will open the "Drawer" on the bottom, which is a box where you can type text in.

In here, type the following:
Character Submit: $('.ws-editable-editing button').eq(0).click();
Guild Submit: $('.ws-editable-editing button').eq(1).click();

If it comes back with a 500/502/503 error it failed, use arrow up button to get the text back, and click enter to submit it again.
The error is not the same on fire fox.

I managed to snag "Forsetti" just as I was loosing hope I also snagged "Dominion Surveyors Office" in case it can be used for a Domie side guild name.

The system only allows 1 guild & 1 character name reservation per account then there is a 1 hr timer allowing you to edit your name. Unfortunately this means that unless you were saving names on multiple preorders, you were actually saving over the previous name each time

If you still haven't run out of time on your countdown, you should be able to get the one name you really want

I got "Tecta" for my main and I got "Prolific People Perforators" for a Dominion side guild name lol. If anyone has any better ideas please tell me with in the next 58 minutes.

Be aware that some folks are saying it bugged and names may have to be reserved again. I got the saga and bigby and I'm waiting for it to finish counting down myself , before I leave the page.

Saga was still taken however.

I won't have access to internet after tomorrow - so just in case if they do reset the names or there are issues like names aren't sticking, someone please make sure to try to get Saga or The Saga or Saga Prime

Also it appears to have been a false alarm, names should still be reserved , they just made the site smoother and looks to be working fine now.
Double check of you feel the need to make sure though! I know I did
